Explore Mountainous Landscape in the Northern Vietnam

Early weak up, have breakfast and check out hotel.

08.00 Our guide will meet you at your hotel and start a 120km comfortable bus journey through the verdant landscape. Stopover for a rest on the way.

Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with King Dinh Temple dating back to the 17th Century.

Arrive at Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with a precious view of nature.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon Visit Trang An Grottoes, get on a rowing boat traveling along the river with scenic mountain and green fields landscape.

Transfer to hotel for check in. Dinner is served at hotel/local restaurant. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

After breakfast, check out hotel and start transfer to Cuc Phuong National Park. Firstly, you will visit the langurs and the monkey, gibbons in the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, witnessing them in their natural environment. Here, professional staff protect monkeys and langurs from becoming extinct. The environment is kept as close to their natural habitat as possible. Afterwards, you will trek inside the jungle to visit the One-Thousand-Year-Old Tree.

Have lunch before depart for Pu Luong nature Reserve. Check in homestay and enjoy dinner. Overnight in Pu Luong.

After breakfast, trek following the small roads through the terrace rice fields and cross the stream to visit remote hidden village of Kho Muong village to learn about the local people in Pu Luong. Explore Doi Cave (Bat cave), this is the largest cave in Pu Luong.

After lunch, depart for Hieu Waterfall and Pho Doan Market (if it open).

Return to homestay, relax and have dinner. Overnight in Pu Luong.

After breakfast, check out homestay and depart for Mai Chau, then visit Lac Village – the village of Thai Ethnic people. Wandering around the village to see the local life and buy souvenir, have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, leave Mai Chau and heading to Nghia Lo. Upon arrival, check in hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight in Nghia Lo.

8:00 am, after breakfast, we leave Nghia Lo to Mu Cang Chai, where we can see the real and beautiful rice terraces field. You will be surprise before the wonderful rice terrace belong the route from Tu Le – Mu Cang Chai.

Run over the Khau Pha pass (one of the four greatest passes in Northern Vietnam with 40km, connect Tu Le and Mu Cang Chai).  Most scenic roads which offer a lot of stops for picturing as the view point to see the Lim Mong, Lim Thai village or paragliding-point on the top of this pass.

Enjoy trekking tours around La Pan Tan commune, explore the life & musical of Mong people.

Continue trekking from La Pan Tan village to enjoy Mam Xoi rice terrace of H’mong people in Mu Cang Chai. Lunch is served along trekking path.

Afternoon, depart for Sa Pa Town (150km). Upon arrival, check in hotel and relax.

Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Sapa.

After breakfast, our car pick you up and transfer to Fansipan cable car station. Spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Reach the altitude of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).

Come back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town.

Have lunch in the hotel/restaurant.

Rest of the day is relax and discover Sapa town by yourself, you can walking round the street to reach Sapa Church and visit Sapa Market…

Dinner & overnight in Sapa.

Start transfer to Cat Cat village – home of Black H’Mong People, you visit Cat Cat waterfall and the Hydrofoil constructed by the French in 19th Century, visit family of H’’Mong People to understand their culture and customs.

Go back to Sapa town by car for lunch. Afternoon, depart for Bac Ha. Upon arrival, visit Hoang A Tuong Palace. (If we arrive Bac Ha on Sunday, you will have chance to join one of the biggest flea market in the North of Vietnam, where you can see the different and colorful ethnic minority come all here to sell their homemade products or buy something for the family and this place is also where people meet up together).

Check in hotel, dinner & overnight in Bac Ha.

After breakfast, check out and start transfer to Ha Giang City (150km). Lunch at local restaurant in Ha Giang City.

Afternoon continue drive to Quan Ba, where you will trekking to explore and snap picture in Quan Ba with “Heaven gate and Fairy Bosom”.

Arrive at Yen Minh Town, check in and enjoy dinner at homestay.

After breakfast, check out hotel and depart to visit Lung Cu Flag Tower. Trekking up to the top of Lung Cu Flagpole, see amazing panorama view from there. Continuing visit the Vuong’s Palace – The building used to belong to a King of H’mong people during the French domination.

Have lunch in Dong Van Town.

Afternoon, you will have change to admire one of the most beautiful pass in the North of Vietnam – Ma Pi Leng, get off the car and take a motorbike to get the boat pier in Nho Que River, enjoy a boat trip in Tu San Valley.

Continue drive to Meo Vac, check in homestay, dinner and overnight in Meo Vac.

After breakfast, check out homestay and depart for Cao Bang City (180km). Lunch in Cao Bang City.

Afternoon, transfer to visit Pac Bo Cave, where President Ho Chi Minh came back to Vietnam after 30 years abroad. Visit to Pac Bo Cave, Lenin River, Karl Marx Mountain, stone table…

Return to Cao Bang City for check in hotel and dinner.

After breakfast, check and and depart to Vietnam – China border to discover the stunning Ban Gioc waterfall, also known as one of the biggest waterfalls of Vietnam.

Continue to Nguom Ngao cave, one of the most spectacular and stunning limestone grottos of the Northern provinces.

Return to Cao Bang City to have lunch.

Afternoon, transfer to Ba Be National Park, arrive at Tay ethnic minority village, check in homestay and relax. Dinner & Overnight in Ba Be.

Breakfast, then get on a boat sailing through the entire length of the 3 connected lakes (Ba Be means 3 bays), through some spectacular scenery and the stunning limestone cliffs that frame the lake and up the Nang River, to an astonishing site: Dong Puong, an enormous tunnel (300m long by 30m high) that the river has cut through a lime mountain. We hike around small villages and along the riverfront where you can observe the peaceful life of the Tay, H’mong people among the green rice fields. The boat then goes up river to the small village of Hua Tang. Lunch is served in a local house alongside the river.

After lunch, a short walk through the jungle takes you to the very scenic Dau Dang Waterfalls, a series of spectacular cascades between sheer rock walls. You may continue the trail to arrive in a large river bend full of colourful local life, with a small “harbour” . Here the locals unload goods to bypass the falls by motorbike and then reload them on boats to go through the lake. Return by boat for another delightful evening at your Tay family.

After breakfast, free to wandering around the village before check out and get on car return to Hanoi.

Upon arrive hotel, check in hotel and relax.

After breakfast, free until check out and transfer to airport to take your departure flight. Tour ends.
