26 Days Vietnam Excursion on Train

BB Travel welcome you to Hanoi, Vietnam. Overnight in Ha Noi.

After breakfast, our guide pick up at hotel at 8.30AM.
Sightseeing today includes exploring Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, start a Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum or Vietnamese’s Women Museum). We leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for
political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War.
During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, at 7.30: Our guide will meet you at your hotel and start journey to Ninh Binh.
Upon arrival, visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple dating back to the 17th Century.
12:00 – Enjoy the lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisines.
In afternoon: Leave for the Trang An Grottoes, an outstanding natural beauty of majestic limestone massif at 20 square kilometer rise dramatically out from rice paddy fields. Deep into the linked chains of towering mountain are pristine places of mystical valleys, numerous fresh water ponds, and jungle.
Embark on a traditional sampan gently roweddown the exquisite river through numerous caves: Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave,…and Cao Sơn Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, Vu Lam Temple…
15:30 – Arrive Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with specious view of the nature.
17:15 – Return to our bus and then come back to Ha Noi
19:30 – Drop you off at your hotel/stay. Trip ends.
Return to Ha Noi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Have breakfast at hotel and check out. You can leave your big luggage at the hotel.
08.00 – 08.30 Our guide and shuttle bus will pick you up at lobby of hotel and start journey east to Halong Bay, through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta, where we see daily Vietnamese village life. On arrival, we board a beautiful cruise and spend a full day and night cruising the bay’s 3000 magnificent limestone islets. In the evening the boat is anchored in the middle of
the stunning lagoon while we enjoy a wonderful seafood. Spend the night on the cruise.

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong. Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Halong
pior to get back Hanoi hotel to take your luggage. The driver will pick you up for the night train to Dong Hoi. Overnight on the train.

The train arrives at early morning, have breakfast at your own.
At 7:30: Our driver and Guide will pick you up at Dong Hoi station go to Phong Nha Ke Bang national park.
09:00: Visit Paradise cave. Paradise cave was discovered by scientists of the British Caving Research Association in 2005, has the length of 31km, the longest dry cave in Asia. You will be taken by the electrical car from the parking to the foothills of the cave (2km). You will went in the jungle, see many kind of trees and hear the sound of animals.Expore the cave about 1km on the wood foor and see lot of stalactites with different shapes. With naturally primitive
features Paradise Cave looks like a landscape painting, making it very attractive to visitors. There are a series of white crystal stalactites resembling glass pillars and many other spectacular formations.
12:00: Lunch at a restaurant with local specialties from the people here processing.
13:00: Continue the journey to visit the PhongNha Cave.
13:30: Visit Phong Nha Cave is considered “First Cave wonders”. Take a boat about 5km along the Son River to Phong Nha Cave (river cave). On Son river, you will see pictures of the girls, the children have fun on the waterfront and have the opportunity to experience the daily life of the neighborhood riverside village bearing the Vietnamese country soul. Conquering the Phong Nha Cave: The longest wet cave, enjoy the scenery spectacular limestone, underground river system and unique stalactite in the world. Caving Fairy & Imperial admire the beautiful stalactites blocks are created by nature over thousands of millennia. Return to the boat station.

16:00 – 16:30: Vehicle transfer you back to Dong Hoi City and your hotel. Check in and relax.
Overnight in Dong Hoi.

The driver will pick you up for the train from Dong Hoi to Hue (morning train – seating coach). Check in the hotel,
Then feel free to explore Hue. Overnight in Hue.

At 8:00 am, our guide and driver welcome you at hotel and start the day trip to explore Hue Imperial City. This morning, you will visit the famous Thien Mu Pagoda upon arrival at the dock to discover Buddhism in Hue. Then you
will be transferred to visit the Imperial City (Citadel), the Royal Palace of Nguyen Dynasty. Explore the glory history and stunning architecture inside this complex. Next, you are free to go shopping at Dong Ba Market, you can also discover the interesting local life here while looking for souvenir for friends and family. Have lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon is the time for Nguyen Emperors’ Mausoleums. You will have chance to visit two of three most famous tombs. Visit Khai Dinh Mausoleum to admire the spectacular architecture which was influenced by Oriental and Western styles. Then visit Minh Mang Mausoleum and discover its traditional style with a peaceful atmosphere. Back to Hue city and end tour at your hotel.

After the train to Danang, you have 1 day free on My Khe Beach – one of the nicest beach in Vietnam and Asia. You can check in the hotel after 14:00. Overnight in Danang.

Check out the hotel in Danang, then the driver pick you up for join the tour to Hoi An.
At 8:00 : Car and Guide will pick you up from the meeting point in Da nang. Transfer to visit:
– Non Nuoc Stone Carving village – Here you can admire the stone sculptures made under the immensely talented hands of the artists.
Visit Marble Mountain. You will discover the hidden caves, shrines and pagodas ( Linh Ung pagoda, Tam Thai, Xá Lợi tower, Tang Chon cave, Hoa Nghiem Cave, Huyen Khong cave,..)
Transfer to Hoi an ancient town
On the way to Hoi an, stop to have dinner, enjoy Hoi An special foods such as Cao Lau, Chicken Rice,…
Have free time to visit Hoi an walking town at night ( old houses, lanterns, architecture, and folk activities,..). Overnight in Hoi An.

9h00: A local guide picks you up at the hotel
9h15: Transfer to Cam Thanh village by boat or car on the way, meet local fishermen and experience daily life.
10h00: Take a bamboo basket boat along the Cam Thanh water coconut forest, have a brief introduction to the history there. Enjoy hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing done by local fishermen.
Learn how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and join in a basket boat race. Explore the peaceful coconut waterways.
Go catch the crabs, drop the net. Return to the fisherman’s house for a welcome drink. Enjoy have lunch.
12h30: Return to the hotel, free & easy at the afternoon.
The remaining of the day you are free to walk around and explore Hoi An by yourself. Visit The Hoi An old town – an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century, its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous
and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. Explore the ancient city of Hoi An highlights with Phuc Kien Communal House, Tan Ky ancient commercial house, Japanese covered Bridge, and Phung Hung Ancient Trading House. Visit one of the lantern making workshops.
After all, it is time for you to explore art and handicraft galleries, try on clothes tailor-made, relax at the riverside restaurants or take the short journey to the nearby beach.
Overnight in Hoi An.

My Son Sanctuary, situated around 50km away from Hoi An, is another Cultural Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1999 with 32 epitaphs and 71 monuments. The unique Hindu sanctuary is the perfectly ideal destination for those who want to learn everything about the Champa Ancient Kingdom including the history, culture, and architecture.
This morning (afternoon), you will set out on a drive to the southwest of Hoi An to My Son Sanctuary for a My Son half day tour. This is where the Cham culture in Central Vietnam started in the 4th century, declined in the 13th century, and ceased to exist in the 15th century. The once capital of the
Champa Kingdom dedicated to the worship of the god Shiva is now a cluster of partially ruined and heavily damaged Hindu temples, with only 20 left, due to age and bombing during the Vietnam War.
This unique and majestic sanctuary stands as a witness to a glorious bygone era of the once-thriving Cham culture.

After breakfast, you have one day to wander around Hoi An, take photos, enjoy special cuisines.

After breakfast, check out the hotel. Feel free until the driver pick you up to transfer to Danang train station.
Overnight on the train.

The train arrive at morning, pick up from station to hotel for check in (12:00 pm). Free to relax. Overnight in Nha Trang.

7h-7h30: guide pick you up at your hotel.
8h30: Depart for 3 islands tour by high-class canoe.
9:00: Arrive at Coral Bay. You are free to swim, admire the coral reefs and rare marine species with snorkeling goggles. This is the most favorite destination when exploring Nha Trang Bay.
Explore the ocean by scuba diving or walking under the sea with hundreds of rare fish and coral species, besides you play jetski, parachute, banana floats… self-sufficient fee) – your own expense
11h00: Visit the Fishing Village, have a quality lunch at Con Se Tre Restaurant
13h00: Arrive at Coral Bay 2 Resort
You go to the island to continue swimming, swimming in the pool or relaxing on the beach with the sound of waves crashing…
15:30: tour guide take guests back to the hotel.

After breakfast, check out hotel and transfer to Da Lat. Upon arrival, check in hotel and relax at your own leisure. Overnight in Da Lat.

You have one day free to explore Da Lat.

At 8.30 am: Our guide and Driver will come to pick you up at your hotel then we start to see some destination below. Crazy House: A Unique architectural building, Just like a Tree, the house now known as one of the craziest building in the world via many Magazines. Lang Biang Mountain: The Highest mountain in Dalat. We need to go up by a jeep on your own, from the top you can
have a panorama view of Dalat. (not includes jeep to the top
of mountain) Visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery – Tuyen Lam Lake.
Go to Dantala Water Fall. You can pay by yourself if you want to play Asian longest toboggan-ride with the 2400m length Robin Hills: You can take the cable car (pay by yourself) to see the panorama of Da Lat, Lang Biang Mountain, Elephant Mountain… down to Tuyen Lam Lake (the nicest lake in Dalat) surrounding by pine forest.
Visit high-tec strawberry farm.
Overnight in Da Lat.

After breakfast, transfer to meeting point in Da Lat to get a bus to Mui Ne. Overnight in Mui Ne.

You have one day free in Mui Ne. You can go to White Dune and Yellow Dune, visit sea food market by yourself.

Free to immense in the blue sea in Mui Ne. Overnight in Mui Ne.

The driver will pick you up to transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Have a breakfast. The driver will pick you up to take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post
Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.
Have lunch at local restaurant.
Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how
the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage,
weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.
Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun (at your own expense).
Return to Saigon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, at 08.00, meet our guide and driver at hotel lobby.
Take a smooth one-and-half-hour bus ride through rice field scenery along National Highway 1 bringsyou to the beautiful rural district of Trung Luong.
On arrival at My Tho, take a leisurely cruise on the Tien River to view the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant, then visit the coconut candy mill and take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”,
performed by locals.
Meet at the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home
your own private collection of beautiful memories.

Have a breakfast before transfering to the airport for the flight to back home. Tour ends.
